Sun-Dried Tomatoes

At Sibas Food, we use an ancient, traditional method of drying fresh tomatoes under the sun. This time-honored process imparts a natural, concentrated flavor to our Sun-Dried Tomatoes, which is highly prized by chefs and food manufacturers alike.

Our tomatoes are locally grown and harvested by contracted farmers, under the careful supervision of our Agricultural Division. After harvesting, the tomatoes are transported to our drying fields within 24 hours. There, they are washed, cut, and sun-dried for 5-7 days using either salt or a sulfur solution.

Once the drying process is complete, the Sun-Dried Tomatoes are delivered to our production site, where they undergo a final selection process, are weighed, and are packed into standard sacks. Each batch is barcoded to ensure traceability, then stored in our cold storage units to preserve freshness.

Throughout the year, we offer Sun-Dried Tomatoes in various forms and packaging to meet customer demand.
